Since 1982, CAPS and its corps of committed, professionally-trained volunteers, have reached over one- million Long Islanders with programs designed to help prevent bullying, child abuse, and neglect.   Our prevention- through- education workshops are offered at no cost to member schools, and presented in classroom settings.  Additionally, CAPS offers fee-based parent education and educator and school professionals training programs which enhance and support our classroom efforts.
